Digitally Aware

So it's been a while since I've posted anything, mostly due to an increase in school work. I've had 3 classes this past term, including my senior thesis as well as a practicum and and internship teaching at an elementary school. As part of my practicum experience at McDowell Sr. High School (Erie, PA) I presented the fallowing slide show and discussed ways in which students can use the technologies available to them for more purposeful things than...Oh I dont't know, say Farmville. The students were incredibly excited about the applications and sites I showed them and many expressed interest in using them for both school and personal work. It was also interesting to hear these students express their fear of technology and it's impact on their future. I was also interviewed by a author of www.paragonmedione.com blog page for a write up.
